Sirwan has used industry standard software, which are and not limited to the following: Cinema4D, Blender3D, 3Ds Max, AutoCAD; Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks. Premiere, Final Cut Pro.
With a background in design, Sirwan can instinctively design directly through code. As well as convert designs and wireframes into websites. He explores, expands and modifies designs, through Browser Development Tools to capture the fine details in the user's experience. While developing, he debugs code as well as mock's user behaviour.
Sirwan uses PHP Frameworks such as CodeIgniter 3. He likes to develop Wordpress sites the most, as he knows it very well having developed and sold themes in the past. He made a popular theme that turned a Wordpress installation into an online Taxi booking and payment system.
Sirwan likes to use Git, both for private and open source public repositories.
He likes exploring other development stacks in Ruby, NodeJS, MongoDB. Mobile and multi-device design is key to his design process. This involves using latest technology to streamline the design process.
Sirwan has 5 years of architectural education. A B.A Architecture and a P.G Diploma in Architecture. He is RIBA Part 2 certified.
He has developed a broad skill set, typically applied through a multi-disciplined approach on many different types of projects.
He's able to read, create and modify technical drawings and convert them into life-like 3D images and concept drawings. He has worked in Taiwan where his concept drawings helped his employer win national interior design awards.
He also worked as a Landscape Illustrator producing powerful and seductive imagery for landscape and garden designers. Who he helped win awards at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. He has also worked alongside TV garden designers Katie Rushworth ('Love Your Garden') and Chris Colins (former 'BBC Blue Peter' gardener).
Sirwan makes creative and original imagery for print, screen and mobile devices. He has designed food packaging, infographics, videos, pamphlets and social media content.
Sirwan uses Photoshop (Mac/Win) to make structured files that are future-proof and organised properly for collaboration.
For more accurate visual content he uses Illustrator to create vector images. Sometimes creating .svg files that embed on websites. He also likes to include 3D elements in his visuals when suitable using Cinema4D or Blender3D.
He has also produced video content using Adobe Premiere, including audio editing with Audacity and animation using Adobe AfterEffects.
